Newly leaked photos of the Luxgen sedan appeared on the Chinese internet portal, sina.com.cn, on Wednesday, capturing more details of the much-anticipated model from the joint venture of Dongfeng and Taiwan’s Yulon Motor.

The Luxgen sedan has been previously exposed on at least two occasions: last September when road-testing with Luxgen7 SUV (see our report here) and last November at the EVS25 Shenzhen when previewed as the "Neora" EV concept in a short video footage.
The new spy shots give us more confidence to identify the black-coated test car as the volume-production model of the Neora. They confirm much of what we have already known–or suspected, while telling few new things.

Intended to be a family sedan, the exposed model apparently shares many advanced features with the Luxgen7 SUV, which will be the first Dongfeng-Yulon release: Think+ infotainment system, Eagle View+ 360-degree surveillance, front and rear parking sensors, electric handbrake, LED rear lights, and, possibly, adaptive Xenon headlights.
Production at the Dongfeng-Yulong plant in Xiaoshan, Hangzhou is expected to begin in July this year. Luxgen7 SUV will be released in late 2011, followed shortly by Luxgen7 MPV. If everything goes according to plan, the sedan will hit showrooms in 2012.
