The passenger car joint venture of SAIC and General Motors said on Monday that it delivered 612,072 new vehicles (including 12,067 exports) in the first six months of this year, 27.5% more than H1 2010. Sales in June reached 104,472.
Cadillac sales jumped 88% on year in the first half year to 14,078, including over 8,700 units of the SRX and 3,757 of SLS. Buick delivered 54,140 units in June, and 324,919 in H1, up 48% and 28% on year, respectively. The H1 counts of Buick include 37,177 units of the GL8 MPV, 95,570 of Regal and LaCrosse, 66,510 of Excelle GT and XT, 121,418 of Excelle.
273,072 units of Chevy brand new cars were sold in the first six months, 25% more than a year earlier, including over 100,000 units of Cruze, 84,000 of Sail (12,000 of them were sold to overseas buyers), and 57,000 of Lova
