Great Wall added a new member to its Haval SUV lineup on Wednesday, the M4. Three 1.5 MT versions of the mini SUV went on sale for 63,900 – 71,900 Yuan, targeting native-brand rivals such as Changan CX20, Chery Riich X1, and Zotye 5008.

Sharing platform with Great Wall Florid, Haval M4 sits on a 2383mm wheelbase, and is 3961mm long, 1728mm wide, and 1617mm high. In the Haval M series, it is slotted, confusingly, between the M1 and M2 (Great Wall once planned an M3, but later re-named it as (Voleex) C20R).

The M4 is powered by the same 1.5L liter found on the Florid, C20R, and the M2. It can deliver up to 78kW of power and 138Nm of torque. Matched with it is a 5-speed manual transmission.
All three versions come standard with boneless windshield wipers, power windows/doors, remote key, Bosch 8.1 ABS+EBD, BA, and dual front airbags.
