- 2010: On September 19 Dongfeng Motor and Taiwan’s Yulon signed contract at China National Convention Center in Beijing to jointly build Luxgen-brand cars in Hangzhou, Zhejiang. The 50:50 joint venture, Dongfeng-Yulon, was officially established on December 14. Based in the Linjiang Industrial Park in Hangzhou, the company planned to produce 120,000 cars a year in the initial phase.
- 2011: Launched Luxgen Neora EV concept at the Shanghai motor show in April. Luxgen 7 SUV rolled off the production line in Hangzhou on July 28 and was released on September 30.
- 2012: Luxgen Master CEO MPV hit the market on October 12.
- 2013: Started delivering Luxgen 7 MPV on March 7. Luxgen 5 sedan went on sale on July 25.
