The Chana Star 2 is a microvan built by the Hebei subsidiary of Chang’an Auto. As the second-gen Star, it had its origins in Suzuki Carry (Every). Deliveries started on March 19, 2007, with a list price of 38,800 Yuan. It has not replaced the first-gen, which, after being upgraded, remains on the new vehicle as of early 2014 (starting price for the first-gen has to lowered to around 25,000 Yuan).

Compared with the original Star, the second-gen gets a longer wheelbase (2500mm vs. 2350) and a stronger 1.0L engine. Power windows/doors, front fog lamps, remote key and alloy wheels has been offered on higher trim levels.

In 2013, a total of 24,800 units of the Star 2 were sold. In 2015, Changan Auto will release an upgraded version, to be called the Star 3.
