The Ranz EV (some call it Ranz E50) is a pure-electric sedan produced by the joint venture of FAW-Toyota. It is modeled upon a Toyota Corolla. The concept was unveiled in 2013 in Shanghai, the production model at the 2014 Guangzhou Auto Show. With a 2600mm wheelbase, the Ranz EV is 4555mm long, 1705mm wide and 1490mm tall. The car’s electric motor (FQY-320-220SFA) is supplied by FAWER Automotive Parts Limited Company, which is based in Changchun, Jilin. The motor can put out up to 95PS, allowing for a top speed of 120km/h. It is unknown when the Ranz EV will become available in showrooms. The list price is estimated between 250,000 and 300,000 Yuan (before rebates).
